2 March to 30 April 2009 Looking at Others & Looking Within:
Looking at Others & Looking Within highlights contemporary portraiture and artist’s self portraits from the Murdoch University Art Collection and works generously loaned from private collections. The range of artworks presented in this exhibition allows viewers to discover the exciting variations of portraiture while showcasing the diverse range of styles and techniques that comprise the collection.

Paper Works reflects on Murdoch University Art Collection’s holdings of works on paper, a theme which has remained a continuing acquisitions feature since the Art Collection’s inception in 1975. This exhibition comprises of watercolours, drawings and prints by a broad range of Australian artists including historical and contemporary art.
