Advertising

There are two types of advertisements:

1) A display advertisement
2) A creative advertisement.

A display advertisement is an advert that uses the Murdoch template with a brush stroke. The advert copy you provide will be dropped into this template.

A creative advertisement requires creative input and is custom designed to suit the objective of your advert and may contain images and different fonts.

Steps in requesting an advertisement

STEP 1
You will need to download and complete a Display Advertising Brief  Word Document OR a Creative Advertising Brief Word Document

A request for a display advertising brief should be submitted at least 10 working days (2 weeks) before the required placement date to allow for sufficient time for the following - estimate of costs, booking of space, production and placement of the ad.

A request for a creative advertising brief should be submitted at least 20 working days (4 weeks) before the required placement date to allow for sufficient time for the following - estimate of costs, booking of space, production and placement of the ad.  Note: major design work may require a longer lead time.

Please note: PSAC must approve the placement of all domestic recruitment advertising. You will need to contact Associate Professor David Macey to seek approval to place a student recruitment advertisement before providing the brief to the Office of Corporate Communications and PR.

STEP 2

Please email the completed advertising brief to Beverly Ng, Marketing Assistant, Office of Corporate Communications and PR. (b.ng@murdoch.edu.au :ext 7231)
Before commencing work on this ad, you will be given an estimate of costs for design and placement, for your approval.
